Yes, we absolutely accept and work with most major PPO insurance plans! However, we are an out-of-network provider. This means we prioritize giving you the highest quality care without insurance companies dictating your treatment. As a courtesy, we will handle all the paperwork and submit the claims directly to your insurance company so you can get reimbursed.
The reimbursed amount depends on the contract between you and your insurance provider.

Diagnostics:
Digital Imagery: We will take quick, low-radiation digital X-rays. This lets us check for hidden cavities between your teeth, bone levels around your roots, and the health of your jaw.
iTero Scanning: A radiation-free digital 3D imaging system by Align Technology for a baseline assessment of your mouth.
Comprehensive Exam:
Medical & Dental History Review: We will ask about current medications, health conditions, diet, habits like smoking, and any recent mouth pain.
Oral Cancer Screening: We will do a quick, painless visual and physical exam of your tongue, throat, and cheeks to spot early signs of mouth cancer or pre-cancerous lesions.
Diagnosis: We will review your X-rays, iTero scans, and discuss the condition of your gums and teeth. If the doctor finds anything, we will show you exactly what we see and walk you through your options so you can make an informed decision about your health.
Professional Dental Cleaning (Prophylaxis):
Periodontal Charting: We use a tiny, specialized ruler to gently measure the space between your gums and teeth. This checks for early signs of gum disease.
Prophylaxis: We remove sticky plaque and hardened tartar (calculus) above and below the gumline, then polish and floss your teeth. An optional complimentary fluoride treatment will give your teeth added protection against future cavities and tooth sensitivity.

To keep your smile healthy and catch any hidden issues early, we follow a personalized care schedule based on guidelines from the American Dental Association (ADA):
Cleanings & Exams
If your mouth is completely healthy, we recommend a routine visit minimum every 6 months. However, if you have a history of periodontal (gum) disease, we will see you every 3 to 4 months to closely monitor your bone levels and prevent the infection from returning.
Bitewing X-Rays
We take these smaller check-up X-rays every 12 to 18 months to look for early signs of decay hidden between your teeth where we can't see it.
Full-Mouth Series (FMX
We take a comprehensive set of images every 3 to 5 years to evaluate the overall health of your jawbone, tooth roots, and deeper dental structures.
By customizing this schedule to your specific oral health history, we ensure you get exactly the care you need without any unnecessary procedures!

Prophylaxis:
Purpose: Prevents cavities and gum disease in patients with healthy gums or mild gingivitis.
Depth of cleaning: Cleans tooth surfaces above the gumline and slightly below it in shallow pockets (1–3 mm).
Anesthesia: Rarely requires numbing, though a topical gel may be used.
Frequency: Usually performed every 6 months but may depend on individual patients.
Scaling and Root Planing:
Purpose: Treats active periodontitis (gum disease) by removing infection, plaque, and hardened calculus.
Depth of cleaning: Reaches deep below the gumline along the tooth roots and inside deep periodontal pockets (5 mm or deeper).
Anesthesia: Often requires local anesthesia because it works deep around sensitive root and gum tissues.
Frequency: Done as a targeted medical treatment, typically followed by specialized maintenance cleanings every 3 to 4 months.

Dental Veneers (The “Press-on nail”)
What it is: A wafer-thin shell made of beautiful porcelain that is bonded exclusively to the front surface of your tooth.
Primary Goal: Cosmetics. It is used to instantly fix surface imperfections like deep stains, minor chips, gaps, or slight overlapping.
Tooth Preparation: Very minimal. We only need to shave away a tiny sliver of enamel (about the thickness of a contact lens) from the front of the tooth to make room for it. In certain cases, there is no tooth preparation at all.
Requirements: The tooth underneath must already be structurally healthy and strong.
Dental Crowns (The "Helmet" or "Cap")
What it is: A custom-molded porcelain cap that covers your entire tooth all the way down to the gumline.
Primary Goal: Restoration and Strength. It holds together and protects a tooth that has been severely weakened by a massive cavity, a crack, an old failing filling, or a root canal.
Tooth Preparation: More extensive. We have to trim down the tooth on all sides so the crown can fit over it like a glove and handle more than 150 pounds of chewing pressure.
